Q: WHAT ARE SOME OF YOUR FAVORITE AUTHORS?
A: J.K. Rowling, Elizabeth Lowell, Deborah Simmons, James A. Owen, Rick Riordan, Walter Farley, Stuart Hill.
Q: WHICH AUTHORS DON'T YOU LIKE?
A: Patrick Carman [his books are deathly boring], Carrie Ryan (She was nice but her Forest of Hands and Teeth was just horrible), Lemony Snicket, Stephanie Meyer YUCK, Cornelia Funke (Who destroyed the Inkheart series with the 2nd book).
Q: WHY DO I ALWAYS USE THE NAME KRISTEN?
A: I am probably the least imaginative and pickiest person when it comes to names. That combination is NOT good! So, when I finally settled on Kristen (appeared first in The Fifth Marauder, it stuck when I was writing my other stories. It's a good name that can fit well into alot of plots. And, I just don't have the willpower to put myself through the agonizing process of choosing a different name for each story I write.
(Call me lazy if you want!)
Q: WHY DO I ALWAYS USE THE NAME _?
A: Like I said above, thinking of good strong names is hard for me. And, I'm picky. Therefore, I usually stick to names that I used before as I know they will work.
Q: WHY DO I TAKE SO LONG TO UPDATE?
A: Depending on the story, I try to make each chapter at least _ pages long. You can see that from chapter to chapter in each story, it's usually about the same length. Then, I update by what story by recently updated. So, for example, if I updated A New Hope on 12/2/08, and Immortal on 11/3/08, The Fifth Maruader on 12/14/08, All Isn't Well on 12/15/08 and A World Without War on 11/15/08, I would go about writing: Immortal, A World Without War, A New Hope, The Fifth Marauder and All Isn't Well in that order. (These are using my Fanfiction stories). Of course, sometimes I might bend the rules *wink wink* Especially if I get lots of encouragement!
Q: HOW OLD ARE YOU? ARE YOU A GIRL OR A GUY?
A: Definitely not going to answer the first, sorry! But I'm a girl, living in the Midwest United States.
Q: WHAT DOES "OOD" MEAN?
A: Short for Ocean of Dreams :)
Q: WHY DON'T YOU POST ON WIZARDTALES ANYMORE?
A: See, I was thrilled to be invited to WizardTales. I thought it was really cool. But it didn't agree with me. I think that their requirements --and screening of each and every submittion-- suck all the creativity out of each piece of work. Some of them I could deal with, but then I realized that I would soon have to pretty much redo entire stories. So I said screw it.
Q: WHAT ARE SOME UPCOMING PROJECTS?
A: For fanfiction, it's probably going to be held up. A LOT. I mean, I have about 17 pages on Word detailing plot bunnies for fiction which I won't say! But if I do a FanFiction in the near future, it'd be on the Bartimaeus Trilogy (just gotta love that smart aleck!)
